5 Reasons Giant Brands Still Need Marketing Campaigns

Do you ever wonder why huge companies like Coca-Cola or McDonald’s still spend billions of dollars a year on marketing?

For new companies, it’s usually to increase brand awareness.
But these huge brands are already instantly recognized worldwide.

So why do they still need to invest in marketing to boost their success?

1) To Prevent Any Buyer’s Remorse

When you buy a 2L Coke for a party, it’s rare that it would go to waste. It’s become so well-known that it’s acceptable no matter the demographic.

If you were to watch a Coca-Cola ad even after buying the product; chances are you’d still feel happy with your choice. They opt for emotional ads that emphasize: happiness, love, and sharing. Making you feel good about your purchase.

2) To Prove Their Brand Superiority

Both McDonalds & Coca-Cola have obvious direct competitors. Running ads keeps them on top.
